After a successful international performing career Melanie Gibbs’ “stage” is now the studio! A 25 year dance educator, Melanie owns and operates Boca Dance Studio and ProAm Dance Studio. She is a member of the Florida Dance Association, the National Dance Association and the National Dance Education Organization, as well as a founding member of the international dance studio affiliation More Than Just Great Dancing!®.
She serves on the board of Traveling Tutus Inc.® as Studio Outreach Coordinator and is a More Than Just Great Dancing!® Certified Coach™. Melanie is the chapter advisor and founder of her local chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts, and is the chairman of the Leave A Legacy Foundation of South Florida, a non-profit with the mission of encouraging the next generation of philanthropists in young dancers. Melanie has been featured in Dance Spirit!, Dance Studio Life and INSight magazines and was proud to receive both the Community Service award and Member of the Year award from her peers at More Than Just Great Dancing!®
